Course Information:

This is a builder course where students will build their own custom AK-47 and take it to the range to test fire.  Build will include one magazine.

This course is being offered by a Federal Firearms License 07 Builder at their location in Whiteland Indiana (Advanced Weapons Systems).

All parts, tools, and supplies will be supplied.

The firearms built will be a rifle length 7.62×39 version with class standardized parts.  Swapping out of parts for different models is not available during the class, but arrangements may be made for parts swaps after the course completes.  This is an effort to make certain the class goes smoothly for all participants.  Custom cerakote paint is an option after the class as well.

Students should the following:

  • Gloves
  • Eye Protection
  • Ear Protection
  • 100 rounds of 7.62×39 ammunition


Understanding of all firearms safety rules

Must be 18+ and able to complete the form 4473 transfer paperwork.  You are responsible for insuring you are legally able to be approved for transfer.  In the event of a denial, the firearm will be sold to the highest bidder with you receiving the funds less a $25 transfer fee.  If you are placed on a waitlist the firearm will be held until the wait is either approved (at which time you can pick it up), or denied (at which time the above terms go into place).

Important Payment Information:

The total cost is $1,025.

The fee paid via your registration below is a non-refundable $25 class deposit to hold your place in the class only.  If you do not complete the firearm deposits as listed below your spot will be released.

Firearms payments are as follows:

$700 must be paid by July 1st (or immediately if registering after July 1st).

$300 must be paid by August 1st.

The FFL will send you an invoice for both firearm payments.
