Home defense strategies are an essential part of every gun owners’ skill set, but commonly become overlooked. We are meant to be comfortable in our homes, not on alert. In this intermediate class, we will further develop the use of a firearm for protection of yourself and family within the home. Planning strategies and methods to enhance your personal safety at home put you ahead of the attacker. Responding quickly to a potentially life-threatening encounter with proper planning can be practiced safely at home with the family. You’ll also learn how to mentally prepare for the aftermath of a violent confrontation. We will provide you with the important legal information you must also understand. This course is meant to develop a mindset for self-defense within your home and ensure that you are effectively able to relay information to law enforcement.
