About This Course:
SAMM stands for Speed and Accuracy against Multiple threats while Moving.
This course is designed to push you to become more capable of dealing with multiple threats in a dynamic environment. It will teach you how to use your rifle, your handgun and to use them together if needed. You will leave with a better ability to engage multiple targets while you are moving and to insure you do so quickly and accurately.
These skills and drills are based off the United States Army Special Forces (Green Beret) training principles, and have been successfully utilized to train thousands of the best combat shooters in the world.
If you want to be able to better control your shot placement, decrease your time on target, and be able to do so while moving and under time constraints, this course is for you.
This is a high volume course where if you are learning, loading, and shooting with very limited downtime.
– Rifle (AR, SCAR)
– 3 Rilfe Magazines
– Rifle Sling – 2 Point
– Method to carry your rifle magazines (Vest, Plate Carrier, Harness, Battle Belt, etc.)
– 3 Handgun Magazines
– Holster (no SERPA) – Outside the waistband preferred
– Method to carry your handgun magazines
– 1,000 Rifle Rounds (no penetrator tips) and 1,000 Pistol Rounds. If you bring more ammo you can run the drills multiple times. This is a course where you will shoot all your ammo, and extra is recommended (especially handgun).
It is highly suggested to bring a speed loader for your magazines (Lula, etc)
You may bring extra magazines and have them fully loaded prior to class.
If there is a piece of gear you do not have, please let us know and we can likely provide you something to borrow.
You should have intermediate pistol and rifle skills. DHL2 and FRL2 are highly recommended but not required.
