About This Course:
In today’s world the average citizen must be equipped with practical close quarter skills to deal with the violence against him. In this three day block of courses we will take you into the Gut Bucket range (close quarters) and teach you how to use and deal with edged weaponry, Handgun (1), Carbine (2), and Combination of Handgun and Carbine (3). This type of work is suited for civilians as we learn that oftentimes it will be you, your immediate weapon and a single magazine. This course will open your eyes to what is needed when it goes bad, in tight, and it’s just you.
In these courses you will be shown:
- Footwork and mechanics
- Bladework in close
- In tight point shooting while moving
- Weapon transition
- Breathing techniques
- Abnormal work
- Training knife (No edge or point)
- Everyday Carry Handgun
- Holster (Due to insurance regulations, no SERPA holsters allowed)
- At least 2 Handgun Magazines
- Carry Method for Handgun Magazines (Belt pouch, etc)
- Quality Carbine (AR or AK style, caliber does not matter)
- At least 2 Rifle Magazines
- Carry Method for Rifle Magazines (Belt pouch, chest rig, etc)
- Rifle Sling (one or two point)
- 800 Pistol Rounds
- 800 Rifle Rounds
- Eye and Ear Protection
A solid understanding of safe weapons handling. Familiarity with both handgun and rifle (the one you work with). Malfunctions and reloads.
The course will be instructed by Mike Blackgrave, Founder of S.E.A.M.O.K. and developer of the Gut Bucket program, and by Court Bolton, 75th Rangers, Special Operations.
Course will conclude at approximately 5pm each day and resume at 9am the following morning. Camping on the range is allowed, or discounts are available at hotels within 10 minutes of the range.

6077 US Highway 31 Edinburgh, Indiana Located 0.2 miles North of Tara Treatment Center on East side of Hwy 31. Located 0.4 miles North of railroad crossing. Please note....some GPS systems will utilize Franklin as the city versus Edinburgh.
