About This Course:

If you carry a handgun as part of your daily life, you are likely to be faced with a situation where you must decide if you shoot or don’t shoot.  If you decide to shoot, you will have to be able to draw (likely from concealment), and place accurate shots are target quickly.  Being able to do this while in a stressful situation where your opponent has already demonstrated intent and capability to inflict serious harm on you or others makes it even harder to accomplish.

Before it ever gets to this point, there are things you can do to de-escalate the situation.  Knowing how to recognize dangerous situations, control the circumstances as much as possible, and lessen the need for force is always better than having to deploy your weapon.

This course takes the idea of the use of force continuum and expands it to include conflict control and resolution.  Participants will face various scenarios and be forced to either control the and de-escalate, or move into a use of force profile.  The use of airsoft and other training weapons will add realism and stress to each event.
Equipment Required:

All equipment will be provided.  If participants want to bring their own safety and training gear they are welcome.

  • Airsoft pistol (CO2 version)
  • Holster for Airsoft Pistol
