If you want to take your skill with firearms to the next level, you have to focus on the foundations.

Naval Special Warfare members are among the best in the world at fighting with firearms, and this stems from the extensive drills they run every week.

In this course, you will be shown many of the drills used to create these highly efficient warriors, and how you can use them to further refine your skills.  This course focuses on extreme refinement of rifle skills.

-Weapon Manipulation

-Weapon Safety in Tight Quarters

-Accuracy vs. Speed

-Accuracy vs. Efficiency

-Mindset Drills

While you do not need to be a master firearms expert, you will need to know the basics of how to run your weapon system including how to do speed reloads and clear malfunctions.  We will modify the drills to work within your physical limitations.

What to bring:

– AR Platform Rifle

– 3 Rifle Magazines

– Rifle Sling (2 point preferred)

– Method to carry your rifle magazines

– 500 Rifle Rounds

Course will run from 10:00am until 5:00pm on Saturday, and 9:00am until 4:00pm on Sunday.  We will break for lunch both days.

This is the second course of a 5 part series.  Participants who complete all 5 courses will receive a special T-shirt and certificate.  You may attend parts 1, 2, or 3 in any order.  You must attend parts 1, 2, AND 3 in order to attend parts 4 and 5.

I am former Military so don’t think I need the beginners class, however my two boys (16 and 24) are not, and unfortunately I have not as of yet trained them up in the AR Platform. When is this beginner class in August and how much?

The NSW courses are designed to take the beginner and get them fully up to speed. All is required is for them to have a basic understanding of their weapon system and a good foundation in safe firearm handling.

We have had several very advanced users come through the course and they all find it informative.

What type of round is typically used during these trainings? My rifle can shoot 5.56 NATO rounds but wasn’t sure if .223 is preferred during training. If it doesn’t matter why type of cartridge is preferred for 5.56 (XM193 or XM855)?
