About This Course:
In disaster situations there are times when we have to lift things out of the way. Large trees, collapsed structures, machinery, etc. Knowing how to properly rig the object for removal are not only vital for success, but to maintain a safe environment.
The skills you learn in this course will also be very useful around the house, whether it is lifting the refrigerator out of a truck, or raising a package of roofing shingles, or raising a lawn mower for work.
This course will also help prepare those who are interested in rope rescue work for search and rescue, as many of the principles are similar.
