SRE 2 - Surveillance and Counter Surveillance

About This Course:

This course is part 2 of the Sidney Reilly Experience.  You do NOT have to have attended part 1 prior (this is a standalone course)

Situational Awareness will only get you so far. How do you know if someone is following you, or has identified you as a target for their criminal activity? Criminals will often employ surveillance to determine if you are someone they want to attack, and if so, when you are at your most vulnerable. Knowing how to detect and evade surveillance could be the key to avoiding becoming a victim

In order to properly avoid surveillance, you need to know how to conduct surveillance. This course will also cover the proper techniques in vehicles and on foot.

This course directly relates to our counter-kidnapping course and is a required prerequisite.

This course is extremely helpful for anyone planning on travelling, or for anyone who has reason to believe they may be targeted domestically.

This course will cover the following topics:

• Surveillance Terminology
• Surveillance Types and Examples
• Pre-Planning and the Initial Surveillance Phase
• Counter Surveillance Tactics and Considerations
• Surveillance Detection Routes
• Surveillance Detection Points
• Vehicle Demeanors and Vulnerabilities
• Foot Demeanors and Vulnerabilities

While this series is labeled as a "Spy" series, the lessons taught are directly applicable for all people in their daily life.

• Reduce the potential for criminal activity against yourself and/or your family
• Enhance your knowledge and capabilities for detecting and reacting to surveillance activities
• Enhance self-confidence by sensitizing you to skills and procedures to uncover surveillance and warn of targeting activity.

Due to the nature of this course all individuals will be subject to a criminal background check.
