About This Course:

Running a knife is not unlike running a firearm, it takes skills to truly become a technician of the blade. In this two day course we will address what it takes to run a knife combatively, and also how to transfer that mechanical ability into empty hand usage against the edged weapon attack.  During this course we will also discuss the use of baton type weapons and how to properly transition between impact weapons and cutting weapons.

This course is based on the SEAMOK (Simple, Effective, Aggressive Methods of Kombate)

Topics Include:

  • Knife Familiarization
  • Striking Patterns
  • Targeting
  • Footwork and Mechanics
  • Ambush
  • Knife on Knife
  • Empty Hand vs. Knife

  • Training Knife (No points, No edges) NOK style preferred - We have these available to borrow
  • Safety Glasses
  • Groin Protector
