About This Course:

When cell phones are out of service either because of coverage or damaged towers, radios become the only method of communication. The problem is even the best radios have very limited coverage with terrain, buildings, foliage, and lack of repeaters. Knowing how to get the most out of your radios, setup support antennas, and get reception can be vital in emergency situations.

This course will go deep into signal and antenna theory, teaching the student how to maximize range and clarity of radios when other forms of communication is compromised. Based on the military protocol for setting up communications this course will be useful to those who deploy to natural disasters, use radios for hunting or hiking expeditions, or who are trying to be a knowledgeable prepper. You will come away with knowing what equipment to buy and how to get the most out of the equipment you have.
