    About This Course:

When cell phones are out of service either because of coverage or damaged towers, radios become the only method of communication. The problem is even the best radios have very limited coverage with terrain, buildings, foliage, and lack of repeaters. Knowing how to get the most out of your radios, setup support antennas, and get reception can be vital in emergency situations.

This course will go deep into signal and antenna theory, teaching the student how to maximize range and clarity of radios when other forms of communication is compromised. Based on the military protocol for setting up communications this course will be useful to those who deploy to natural disasters, use radios for hunting or hiking expeditions, or who are trying to be a knowledgeable prepper. You will come away with knowing what equipment to buy and how to get the most out of the equipment you have.

    Topics Covered:

    Radio Communication Principles

    Wave Modulation

    Signal Theory

    Antenna Theory

    Terrain and Obstacles

    About This Course:

Active Shooter Situations can happen anywhere. Schools, Malls or Nightclubs.

Police will respond, but in the meantime how many deaths will occur? If your child, spouse, or loved one is in the path of gunfire, will you respond to stop the killing?

Having the will to confront the shooter is one thing, but doing so in a way that you prevent innocent deaths, including your own takes a specific skill set. Knowing what to do when law enforcement does arrive is vital. The 540 degree principal, threshold evaluation, movement toward threat, and friendly link-up are just some of the skills you will learn in this training.

We will start with an understanding of where these events might occur, how to respond, and end with force-on-force drills to let you practice each skill.

If you are a CCW holder and routinely carry your weapon, this course is a "must attend" for you.

If you are a first responder, this course will give you valuable insights in how to respond yourself if you are off-duty.

Fully applicable for Civilians, Fire Fighters, LEO, and EMS.

If you are someone who thinks it is as easy as just shooting the bad guy, you definitely need to come to this course.

If you think you will always get shot by the police in this situation, you definitely need to come to this course.

    About This Course:

We want to think our church is a place of refuge where we can safely grow a relationship with our God, family, and fellow congregation. Unfortunately, churches are quickly becoming one of the most targeted places for violence.

Many churches have started safety or security teams, but they often lack the ability to give proper training and guidance to the team members. In too many instances the church board simply finds the person in the congregation who happens to be a police officer, tags them to develop a security plan, and then opens it up to volunteers. While this is certainly better than having nothing in place, this approach can leave many holes in a fully comprehensive security plan.

Getting a full team together to offer training has issues. People have complicated schedules. Training facilities are limited. Training courses may offer some of the base skills, but they are not tailored to the church environment.

While we offer full advisement, planning, and training packages to churches, we found many other instances where individual safety team members understand it is “up to them” to get the training required. This course will help individuals who have been tasked to serve their church in a security or safety team role to be better prepared. In addition, several topics will be discussed they can take back to their organizations to help implement a more comprehensive plan.

    Topics Covered:

Situational Awareness before, during, and after the service

    De-escalation techniques for church environments

    Firearms and other weapons considerations

Safeguarding the offering and financial contributions

    Protecting the children

Medical issues, fires, weather events, and other safety emergencies

    Legal liability

    Equipment Required:

    Notepad and Pen

    Prerequisites:

    None

    Notes:

This course is primarily aimed at individual safety team members but will help guide the basis for an overall church plan.

This is a fast paced course with many topics covered

Follow-on training is available to go deeper into each topic

If you’ve taken our Defensive Handgun Level 1 and our Defensive Handgun Skills Builder courses, you qualify for this level 2 course.  Ready for a fast paced day to take your skills to the next level?

Research and our own experience in our Force-on-Force classes show one of the most common injuries in a fight are injuries to the hands.  If you take one of your hands out of the fight, can you still properly operate your weapon?

In addition, this course will combine Moving & Shooting skills, where you will learn how to effectively shoot while moving.

Standing still in a gunfight will get you killed.  You are either pressing the attack, retreating, moving toward cover, or moving toward an objective.  Being able to manipulate your weapon one handed, weak handed, and while moving are vital to your success.  This course will make extensive use of footwork, weapon control, and shot placement while on the move.

    About This Course:

The movies John Wick and Suicide Squad introduced a unique style of weapon manipulation. While it certainly looks “cool” on screen, the techniques are derived from a combination of the Center Axis Relock and Gunfoo as used by many SWAT and CQB teams. The technique is a departure from the normal full presentation type of rifle usage commonly taught in defensive tactics. However, when understood and adapted for close quarters confrontations, this form of presentation has several advantages.

Once you have taken the John Wick Handgun course you have a better understanding of how to utilize these techniques. This course will expand on the utilization of the handgun while also applying those same techniques to long guns (rifle / shotgun). Various advanced rills will help you refine your skills and take you to the next level of understanding.

To clear up any confusion, this course will primarily focus on advanced drills for your handgun, and will touch upon the application of rifle/shotgun.

    Equipment Required:

    · Semi-Automatic Handgun

    · Holster (NO Serpa due to insurance regulations)

    · 3 Handgun Magazines

    · Approximately 200 rounds of handgun ammunition

    · AR Type Rifle (Caliber and length do not matter

    · Sling

    · 2 Rifle Magazines

    · Magazine carry method for at least 1 spare magazine

    · Approximately 100 rounds of rifle ammunition

    · Eye and Ear protection

    About This Course:

Tactical Medicine is based off the Department of Defense's Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). This is a demanding course where students will learn skills and knowledge to help prevent the loss of life while in a high threat environment. The skills learned will be equally applicable for self-aid, or in aid of others. This is not a first aid course. This course deals with life threatening injuries due to traumatic injuries. Students will learn to operate in austere conditions, with limited equipment and limited access to higher trained medical personnel. This course will go deep into the use of the IFAK equipment. Specials skills will include medical assessment, commercial and improvised Tourniquet application in a timely manner, wound packing including the use of pressure points, NPA use and insertion, and patient movement including drags and carries. Students will learn to deal with stress inducing situations including missing or broken equipment and combative patients.

This course is a mix of lecture and field drills. This course is moderately physical in nature, and students should expect plenty of movement including lifting and running.

Since this is a TCCC course, students will learn surgical airways, meds/fluids, and needle decompressions. Some skills taught may or may not be applicable based on your current credentials. It is the students responsibility to know if the skills taught are covered under their current certification level and local protocols.

    Course Description:

If you’ve taken our Defesive Rifle Level 1 (AR) course, you qualify for this level 2 course. Ready for a fast paced day to take your skills to the next level?

Research and our own experience in our Force-on-Force classes show one of the most common injuries in a fight are injuries to the hands. If you take one of your hands out of the fight, can you still properly operate your weapon?

This course will take the skills you learned about operating your weapon, reloading, and clearing malfunctions, and force you to do all these things with one hand out of play. In addition, we will work on shooting from compromised positions.

    Equipment Required:

    • AR Style Rifle

    • Sling (Single, Two, or Three Point is fine)

    • 3 Magazines

    • Magazine carry method

    • Approximately 350 rounds of ammunition

    • Eye and Ear protection

    Prerequisites:

    Defensive Rifle Level 1 (AR)

If you have attended an AR rifle course at another facility where you are familiar with all operations and clearing all malfunctions you will be accepted.

    About this Course:

This course is part of the Sidney Reilly Experience

A master spy needs to know how to maintain environmental awareness. But just knowing what is going on around you is not enough. You have to be able to read the clues and predict what may be coming. Are you in safe, or do certain clues help you see what could become a very dangerous situation?

In addition to reading the situational awareness, you need to be able to read people, often from a distance. Can you tell who may be out of place in the room without looking at facial features or clothing? Not just to predict threats, but to spot potential allies, potential obstacles, etc. You need to be able to walk in a room and know if something goes wrong, who might be able help you as much as who might be there to hurt you.

The skills learned in this course will help prepare you to excel in the later courses in the series.

This course will cover the following topics:

    • Increasing Overall Situational Awareness

    • Reading and Interpreting the Baseline
